It manages Entebbe International Airport (EIA) and thirteen (13) other upcountry aerodromes. CAA carries out its work in conformity with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs). The Authority now plans to recruit suitably qualified Ugandans of impeccable integrity and commitment to fill the following positions in its establishment as detailed below
JOB REF: CAA/ADV/EXT/10/2011
JOB TITLE: Aeronautical Information Management
VACANCIES: 04
REMUNERATION: CAA Salary scale – Level 10
REPORTS TO: Manager Air Traffic Management
JOB PURPOSE: The position exists to provide Aeronautical information Management Services for safety, regularity and efficiency of Air Navigation.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Maintain watch-keeping duties which include provision of face to face briefing of pilots.
• Process notices to airmen (NOTAM), pre-flight summaries and bulletins, bulletin editing and updating.
• Collect, prepare and disseminate information for the safety, regularity and efficiency of Air Navigation.
• Maintain liaison with appropriate sources of authentic aeronautical information for dissemination.
• Carry out amendments to documents.
• Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
• A good University degree with a bias in any of the following: Mathematics, Physics, Geography, Statistics, Computer Science and Survey.
OR
• A Private Pilot’s License.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Computer literacy with wide experience in use of MS office
